The owner/operators, Julie and Graham, were very gracious hosts. They helped us in recommending good restaurants and sites to visit in Launceston, and accommodations and sites elsewhere in Tasmania. They helped stimulate a very cordial atmosphere among all the guests, and joined in some of the relaxing sessions in the lounge, including providing excellent wine and cheese snacks. The interior of the house was stylish and comfortable, as was the room. The grounds were likewise exquisite. It is clear that they are very meticulous in caring for the Kurrajong House itself as well as for the guests. As a mature couple, we appreciated the policy of not accepting children or young adults. It contributed to the very relaxing atmosphere of our stay.
It was all excellent. It was somewhat sad to learn that the owners are planning to sell the House, after having developed it over the course of 15 years. I recommend that those of you who are thinking about visiting do so sooner rather than later.

I recently stayed at a charming B&B in Tasmania and I was absolutely delighted with my experience. The accommodation was immaculately clean and had a cozy, homely atmosphere. The hosts were fantastic and made us feel incredibly welcome. Despite a late arrival, they were accommodating and ensured our check-in went smoothly. We stayed in a separate self-contained cottage called Rose Cottage, which had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay, including cooking and washing facilities. The highlight of our stay was the delicious cooked breakfast prepared by the talented host. The location of the B&B was perfect, with plenty of parks and beautiful homes to explore in the surrounding area. The city center was conveniently close, just a short drive or a leisurely 15-minute walk away. We also appreciated the detailed map provided by the hosts, which guided us to some amazing tourist attractions in the region. I had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this B&B as a base for exploring the area even further.

This hotel is a hidden gem nestled in a beautiful area. The lush gardens surrounding the hotel create a serene and peaceful atmosphere, perfect for those looking for a relaxing getaway. The location, on top of a hilly area, offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The attention to detail in the rooms, especially the ones with a four-poster bed, is commendable. The large windows allow for plenty of natural light and offer a great view of the surroundings. The basic amenities are provided, and the breakfast is simply delicious with both hot and cold options available. The staff member who served us displayed exceptional hospitality, making us feel welcome and well taken care of throughout our stay.
There was nothing that needed improvement. Everything was just perfect.

We recently stayed at a charming B&B for our romantic escape and we were blown away by the warm and friendly hosts who provided us with lots of great recommendations for local activities. The breakfast was delicious and the cozy room was well-equipped with everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the quiet and peaceful location, which was perfect for our getaway. the attention to detail in the room made us feel pampered and special.
Although we overall enjoyed our stay, we did have a couple of minor issues to point out. The bed wasn't as comfortable as we would have liked, and the curtains didn't do a great job of blocking out light at night.

Spent Xmas at this lovely period accommodation and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Breakfast included cooked options and had a friendly communal vibe. The rooms were impeccably clean and the lounge area was cozy with a fireplace. The location was perfect for us to explore the nearby attractions and wildlife. We also appreciated the complimentary tips on things to do in the area. Another bonus was the generous breakfast options and the outside garden area which was a great place to relax.

I recently had a wonderful stay at this hotel in a room with a great view through the large window. The king-sized bed was extremely comfortable, and I enjoyed the close access to the entrance. The breakfast offered both hot and cold options, and it was served with some great hospitality. The hotel is located on top of a very steep hill in a lush garden close to the city center, providing a beautiful and peaceful atmosphere.
All was in perfect order, nothing to complain about.

The hotel could improve on some minor aspects.
